The programme is perfect for those students who want to improve their knowledge of English and increase communicative skills. The primary aim of the course is to develop communicative confidence, cultural awareness and learner autonomy. You will undergo training in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and listening comprehension and take part in creative and collaborative projects. Teachers provide support and guidance to help you to achieve your academic goals.
The course consists of the following aspects:

• • Creative projects. Students work individually or in a group on a project to share their innovative ideas. Students can use different styles of presentation: video reportage or a blog.
  • Life and Career Skills. Students focus on experience and career skills such as critical thinking, global competency and social literacy.
  • Students visit outstanding landmarks of the city and then present their thoughts and findings and compare them with their own culture.
  • English language in use. In a session, students read texts or watch videos, analyze the content, language features and carry out different spoken and written tasks.
  • Each student keeps a Learner Portfolio to monitor his progress and achievement.
  • Social and weekend activities. OISE provides students with a wide range of activities. On-site afternoon and evening activities include sports, arts and crafts, discos, talent shows and team games.
