The Scholar English Programme provides intensive tuition that is focused on fostering an erudite identity in English. The main goal is to form academically literate pupils that can successfully face the challenges of understanding and responding creatively and formulate their own opinions. The long-term plan leads to an ideal transition for international students into mainstream UK education. The lessons include ideation & argumentation, subject tasters, cultural calendar journalism, biographies, debates, literature and reader's theatre, book club, guided research projects with presentations and discussions, training in philosophical thinking. One of the main focuses is grammar accuracy and correct pronunciation.
