Details: If you want to spend a long period in another country you are offered to study for an academic year or semester. This programme is for students who stay abroad for 24 weeks or more. It will contribute to your fluency and accuracy. You will have time to prepare for and take internationally recognized exams, confirming your language level (English: Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC). Moreover, there is an opportunity to study in different EC destinations without interruption. EC School provides you with a coordinated pedagogical concept allowing you to swap course locations. Studying abroad for a semester and a year will give you a unique experience.

You can decide for homestay accommodation. Living with a host family let you know the Canadian way of life and traditions while at the same time, improving your language skills. The interaction with a family helps students to communicate and practice their language in a more relaxed environment. Host families include single people, couples, parents with children and single-parent families. Houses are various: single standing homes, townhouses or apartments. You can live with an English-speaking family or even with a bilingual family.

The Apartment is located in downtown Montreal in a walking distance from EC Montreal School. It is a modern residence with all the necessary amenities. It includes 3 or 5 single bedrooms with shared bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and lounge.
