Details: DID Deutsch-Institut offers teacher-training courses, which helps the participating teachers to experience language instruction from a new perspective. The Course is divided into three instructional stages. At the first stage, a participant attends classes of a Standard Course as a student. A client has a chance to enhance language skills and to estimate teaching methods and pedagogical styles. At the second stage, learners are considered to be observers. They will attend 4 more lessons per week in another class with different teachers. They will have an opportunity to analyze different training approaches. After classes, the participant is going to meet and discuss attended lessons. The participants can develop new ideas, talk about teaching materials and intercultural experience. This is an analysis, the third stage.

You may choose to live in a host family. It is an excellent possibility to practice the German language after classes to improve your skills. You will learn about the German way of life and traditions. You can live with a family with kids, with singles or with older people. All families will be glad to welcome international students.
The participant can rent a single room in an apartment. You will provide for your meal and share housework with your cohabitants.
If you want to live independently, you may book a room in a Youth Hotel. You should be 18 years or older.
In the Hamburg Student Residence, students 18 years and older can rent a private room.
