Details: A Standard course is perfect for students who want to increase and expand their knowledge of German and experience Berlin at the same time. This course can help you to prepare for entering University or getting a better job. Quite many lessons guarantee great success in learning German. Classes are combined with varied cultural and sports activities, which promote your discovery of Germany and the German way of life. The primary aim of the Standard course is to develop communicative competence. You will undergo training in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and listening comprehension in well-organized lessons. It will contribute to refining vocabulary and conversation skills through grammar lessons. So the Standard course focuses on the practical use of the German language. Furthermore, you can choose custom-made instruction by booking individual tuition in addition to the Standard Course. While studying German, you have an opportunity to get your guidance for better preparation.

You may choose to live in a host family. It is an excellent possibility to practice the German language after classes to improve your skills. You will learn about the German way of life and traditions. You can live with a family with kids, with singles or with older people. All families will be glad to welcome international students.
The participant can rent a single room in an apartment. You will provide for your meal and share housework with your cohabitants.
If you want to live independently, you may book a room in a Youth Hotel. You should be 18 years or older.
In the Hamburg Student Residence, students 18 years and older can rent a private room.
