The internship program allows you to get work experience. You should have sufficient knowledge of the German language and get the permission of the Central Employment Office (ZAV) for doing an internship in Germany. Citizens of a country-member of the European Union can take an internship position after the completion of their German courses. For all other nationalities, an internship is limited. Nevertheless, in case if you study in your home university and the placement is connected with your field of study, so the training is available. Requirements: - Enrollment: A student must submit an application form, a CV in German, three photos at the latest two months before the work program. - Compensation: Companies are not obligatory to pay students for internship. An allowance can be provided at the company's discretion.

Accommodation
Host family. You may choose to live in a host family. It is an excellent possibility to practice the German language after classes to improve your skills. You will learn about the German way of life and traditions. You can live with a family with kids, with singles or with older people. All families will be glad to welcome international students.
If you want to live independently, you may book a room in a Youth Hotel. You should be 18 years or older. There two Youth hotels in Berlin Youth Hotel.
