- Many students often tell that the articles (der, die, das) are the hardest thing about learning German.
- It’s true: articles are entirely unintelligible, you just have to memorize them together with the corresponding nouns (der Löffel, das Messer, die Gabel).
- The six sessions of this course are dedicated exclusively to the training of der, die and das.
- You will revise 200 or 300 of the most frequent nouns with the matching articles, and memorize them using flashcards.
- Additionally, you will have to learn (or revise) the declination of articles and the plural formation of nouns.
- Finally, you will do various quizzes and build your sentences applying the articles in all their forms: nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, singular and plural.
- To build the sentences correctly, you will need to know, of course, some more grammar basics, especially the prepositions followed by accusative, dative or altering cases – so the way will revise these items.
