The school has an imposing reputation as being one of the longest-established English language schools in Britain from its foundation in 1954. Students are also able to choose the type of accommodation, have free after-class activities and experience the excellent location in Cambridge.

LOCATION

Along with its many years of teaching experience, a university is also a place of research and invention with the companies of Microsoft, Apple and ARM centred here. The city is not so large, which makes it perfect for getting around on foot or by bike, but it still has beautiful attractions and social venues such as clubs, cinemas and museums.

STUDIO MAIN SCHOOL

The primary school is open throughout the whole year, and it is based in historic buildings from the 19th century which belong to Cambridge University. The city of Cambridge and the train station is within walking distance where there are regular and direct lines to London. The classes take place the whole year, and additional classrooms are available for students during peak study times.

HILLS ROAD COLLEGE

Summer classes (especially in July) are usually held at this college which is only a 10-minute walk from the primary school. AVAILABLE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES

Studio Cambridge takes pride in providing social activities for students as it helps them practice English in different situations. This all relates to the way we eat, the sports we play, occasions that we celebrate and the way we live our life. Students will use the language with new friends from around the world.
One viral social activity is called Studio ‘’missions’’. Students will be provided with different assignments which will encourage them to use English outside of school while exploring Cambridge. For example, this can occur in places like restaurants, sporting locations or at the Cambridge colleges. Overall, this social activity gets students talking in English while learning about the local area.
For those that would like to socialise at school, the Studio Conversation & Grammar Clubs are perfect. These are both clubs which occur after school. A teacher will be available to help with conversations and any kind of questions that students need help with. Here, students will improve their conversation and grammar skills while meeting new friends.
Students are also able to book weekend excursions to locations such as London, Windsor Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, York, bath, Canterbury, Warwick Castle ad Stonehenge. Some tours to destinations and countries in Europe are also available.
