The international Inlingua Salzburg was founded in 1968. Today Inlingua is the largest association of private language schools worldwide with more than 350 institutes in about 40 countries.
Inlingua’s teaching methods are the result of years of practical experience. It guarantees prompt acquiring of a foreign language without tiring vocabulary drills; from the very beginning, participants speak only the new language.

Various sports activities are available in the Salzburg area – golf, riding, tennis, paragliding, swimming, sailing or windsurfing, parachuting, mountain climbing, skiing, snowboarding, or mountain biking.
Students can enjoy traditional events held during the course time: The Glocklerlauf (January), elegant balls and joyful Carnival Parties (November to February), raising the May-Tree (beginning of May), Ruperti-Kirtag (September), and the Christmas Markets and celebrations (December). Also, Salzburg is an ideal place to start day-trips to the lake region of the Salzkammergut.
