WELCOME TO CARL DUISBERG
Carl Duisberg Centre is a high-quality service provider in the areas of international training and qualifications. Life-long learning is central to its promotion by providing students with professional language courses, intercultural training and wonderful experiences abroad and work-related training. The school has locations in four different parts of Germany with each city having its character and history. These locations are Berlin, Cologne, Munich and Radolfzell on Lake Constance. Participants choose if they would like to study in one area of Germany or to change to a different city.
The courses provided are aimed at all age groups and life stages from students exploring the world for the first time to professionals who would like to improve their skills for future employability. The school also has a widespread network to serve customers wherever they may be around the world.

LOCATION
The school is based in the ‘Mitte’ zone of the Berlin metropolitan area. This means that it is located right in the centre of Germany’s capital city. The Carl Duisberg Training Centre is near public transportation and has excellent links throughout the city. Berlin is rich in things to see and do. It consists of over 170 museums, 300 art galleries, ancient castles, churches, many parks, opera houses. The city itself has a unique flair which makes it such as a popular tourist destination. It is a perfect place to take in the insights into German culture.
MAJOR SIGHTS NEARBY
From the school, students can reach landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Gendarmenmarkt and the Reichstag building. A popular place for having a walk is Friedrichstrasse with the Hanns Eisler School of Music and Humboldt University within reach for those with a passion for education and the arts.

Leisure Program is included with the total cost of the German course. Depending on the activities, additional fees may apply.
Group Activities
There are group activities offered to students every week. This is focused around the exploration of Berlin while making friends and using German outside of the classroom. Students will learn about the city’s history and visit one of the many museums while on the guided tour. Some other features of the town will be explored, such as the café and bar scene which will enrich the students with history, art and cultural views of the capital.
Sports and Excursions
For those who are an athletic type and prefer to keep fit, then there are many options available. Sports and fitness activities such as salsa dancing, climbing, badminton and bowling are offered to students. On weekends excursions to places such as Potsdam and other famous places around Berlin are organised. Tours to different locations around Germany such as Hamburg, Dresden and Weimar can be arranged upon request.
