Bayswater College is a prestigious language centre that was established in 1973. Akamas Nature Park is one of the top landmarks of the internationally famous island because of the Baths of Aphrodite. It is a large complex of pools with crystal clear water.
One more local attraction is the Troodos Massif, full of pretty villages with stone-cut traditional houses and cobblestone alleys. You can also visit impressive churches and monasteries; nine of them have been given UNESCO World Heritage Status.
