The UK is one of the best destinations in the world to study the English language. Embassy Summer in the UK takes place in several cities: London, Gatton Park, Kingswood, Brighton, Cambridge, Canterbury, Oxford and Portsmouth. Since 2021 there is a new location – Tavistock.
Tavistock is an old English town with World Heritage Status located in Devon’s county in the South West of England. Students study and live at Mount Kelly, a traditional “Harry Potter” style British boarding school.

Tavistock is a quiet small town with beautiful rural landscapes. It is a perfect place for children to spend their summer holidays. Students can combine their English lessons with admiring wonderful countryside nature and visiting nearby cities and their outstanding sights: Torquay, Bristol, Exeter or Plymouth. In Tavistock you can do the shopping in the Pannier Market or the Farmers Market, go to the Tavistock Canal and Trout Fishery or visit such fascinating museums as Tavistock Museum Picture Framing Gallery.
AVAILABLE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES
The highly qualified staff organises engaging cultural and leisure time activities to entertain students after classes and weekends. They are offered to take part in multiple excursions, a large number of school events where they can practice their language skills. Each programme is well organised. There is no time to be bored. A large number of entertainment and sports activities are provided for students. Everyday activities are aimed at making friends, practising the English language and developing essential life skills. The schedule may vary. During some weeks, groups will have morning lessons and afternoon activities, whereas other weeks’ groups may have afternoon lessons and morning activities.
The company creates an ideal learning environment to help students develop six essential life skills: creativity, teamwork, confidence, communication, problem solving and exploration. The activity programmes are designed to ensure the elaboration of these skills.

ACCOMMODATION
Students are accommodated in separate boarding houses located on the campus of Mount Kelly. The houses consist of twin, triple or multi-bedded rooms and a standard room with social space in each boarding house. Meals are served in a spacious school dining hall.
