The UK is one of the best destinations in the world to study the English language. Embassy Summer in the UK takes place in several cities: London, Gatton Park, Kingswood, Brighton, Cambridge, Canterbury, Oxford and Portsmouth. In 2021 there is a new location – Tavistock.
In Brighton, you can choose from two summer camps: University of Sussex and Roedean. Roedean is a famous independent boarding school in the UK that was established in 1885. Roedean is located on the south coast of the English Channel not far from Brighton and London. There is Brighton Marina nearby with a lot of shops and entertainment such as cinema, bowling and mini-golf.

Roedean has a convenient location close to breathtakingly gorgeous cities: Brighton and London. Students will have a great chance to enjoy the majestic beauty of the towns.
Brighton is a culturally vibrant destination. There are so many places to visit: the Royal Pavilion, the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery, Brighton’s Victorian-era Palace Pier and the British Airways i360 observation tower.
As for London, it is one of the most diverse and cosmopolitan cities in the world. The town is ancient; it was founded more than two thousand years ago. London is home to the world’s most famous tourist attractions. They include the London Eye, the Madame Tussaud’s Museum, Big Ben, the Buckingham Palace, and many others.
Trafalgar Square is one of the great spots. It was named after the victory in the Battle of Trafalgar. There is Nelson’s column with four lions in the centre of the square. Nearby this site, you can visit National Gallery, St. Martin-in-the-field and Admiralty Arch.
Don’t lose your chance to go to a historic area of London, Westminster. It includes such landmarks as Westminster Abbey, coronation and burial site for all British kings and queens, and the Palace of Westminster, the House of Commons’ meeting place and the House of Lords.
AVAILABLE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES
The highly qualified staff organises engaging cultural and leisure time activities to entertain students after classes and weekends. They are offered to take part in multiple excursions, a large number of school events where they can practice their language skills. Each programme is well organised. There is no time to be bored. A large number of entertainment and sports activities are provided for students. Everyday activities are aimed at making friends, practising the English language and developing essential life skills. The schedule may vary. During some weeks, groups will have morning lessons and afternoon activities, whereas other weeks’ groups may have afternoon lessons and morning activities.
The company creates an ideal learning environment to help students develop six essential life skills: creativity, teamwork, confidence, communication, problem solving and exploration. The activity programmes are designed to ensure the elaboration of these skills.

ACCOMMODATION
Roedean Boarding Houses
Students are accommodated at the boarding houses, consisting of single rooms for girls and twin or dormitory rooms for boys with shared bathroom. Meals are provided in the on-site dining hall. The accommodation has necessary facilities:

Homestay
Students are housed in a host family in twin rooms. Breakfast and dinner are served at the host family. Lunches are available in the school. It takes students 45 minutes to get to Roedean from the accommodation.
