Embassy Oxford is located on the Headington campus of Oxford Brookes University close to the centre of Oxford.

Oxford has plenty of tourist attractions. The University of Oxford, the oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of the most prestigious higher education institutions, is located in this city. Besides, you can visit the Bodleian Library founded in 1568. Radcliffe Square and Radcliffe Camera are worth a visit.
In the town centre, you can find the Carfax Tower and the University Church of St. Mary the Virgin; both attractions give a view over the city. A must-see place in Oxford is Christ Church College, a famous filming location for Harry Potter.
Oxford is home to numerous museums and galleries: the Ashmolean Museum, the University Museum of Natural History, the Pitt Rivers Museum, the Museum of the History of Science, Modern Art Oxford, the Story Museum and others.
On weekends, you can take a day trip to other cities London, Cambridge or even Paris.


AVAILABLE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES


The highly qualified staff organises engaging cultural and leisure time activities to entertain students after classes and weekends. They are offered to take part in multiple excursions, a large number of school events where they can practice their language skills. Each programme is well organised. There is no time to be bored. A wide range of entertainment and sports activities is provided for students. Everyday activities are aimed at making friends, practising the English language and developing essential life skills. The schedule may vary. During some weeks, groups will have morning lessons and afternoon activities, whereas other weeks’ groups may have afternoon lessons and morning activities.
The company is aimed at creating an ideal learning environment to help students to develop six essential life skills: creativity, teamwork, confidence, communication, problem solving and exploration. The activity programmes are designed to ensure the elaboration of these skills.

ACCOMMODATION


Students are accommodated on the Headington campus in several residential buildings in single ensuites and standard single rooms arranged in flats of 5-6 in each. There is a communal kitchen in each building. Meals are served in a spacious self-service dining hall.
