Los Angeles is located in the USA, Southern California. The city is surrounded by vast mountain ranges, valleys, forests, beautiful beaches along the Pacific Ocean, and nearby deserts.
Embassy California State University is located at the Northridge campus of California State University in Santa Monica (CSU) in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles.


MAJOR SIGHTS NEARBY


Los Angeles is one of the top travel destinations in the USA. Universal Studios Park is one of the famous sights. There you will find exciting movies and TV-themed rides and sets such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Simpsons, the Walking Dead,  Transformers, the Jurassic World, and others.

A must-see place in LA is Hollywood. Don’t lose your chance to visit the hillside Hollywood sign, Hollywood Boulevard, the Walk of Fame, and the Chinese Theatre.
Griffith Park is the biggest park in California where you can go to the Los Angeles Zoo, the Griffith Observatory, a planetarium, and a Greek theatre.
A world-famous attraction Disneyland is located just outside Los Angeles.
Los Angeles has many marvellous museums, such as the LA Country Museum of Art, California Science Center, the Getty Museum.
Los Angeles offers plenty of opportunities for sunbathing and surfing. A common beach destination is the Santa Monica Pier.
On weekends, you can travel to neighbouring cities to see its highlights: San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas, or Yosemite.


AVAILABLE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES


The highly qualified staff organizes engaging cultural and leisure time activities to entertain students after classes and at weekends. They are offered to take part in multiple excursions, a large number of school events where they can practice their language skills. Each program is well organized. There is no time to be bored. A large number of entertainment and sports activities is provided for students. Everyday activities are aimed at making friends, practising the English language, and developing essential life skills. Events are organized in the evenings and afternoons. Full-day excursions are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. On Sundays, students can choose an optional tour (not prepaid) or on-site activities.
The company is aimed at creating an ideal learning environment to help students to develop six essential life skills: creativity, teamwork, confidence, communication, problem-solving, and exploration. The activity programs are designed to ensure the elaboration of these skills.

ACCOMMODATION


Student Residence
Students are accommodated at the student residence, located on the CSU campus, in standard twin rooms or apartment-style rooms with ensuite and common areas. Each room includes a bed, a desk, a wardrobe, and a chair. There is a shared lounge on each floor of the residence building. Meals are arranged in a large self-service canteen in Geronimo’s Dining Hall.
