Embassy Kingswood is situated near the town of Egham on the campus of Royal Holloway University close to London Heathrow Airport.

Studying in Embassy Kingswood, you can visit London, Oxford and other nearby cities.
London is the world’s most famous tourist attractions: the London Eye, the Madame Tussaud’s Museum, Big Ben, the Buckingham Palace, and many others. Buckingham Palace is the legal residence of Queen Elizabeth. Besides, one of the main places of interest is the Tower of London, one of the oldest buildings used as a royal residence, fortress, prison, mint and, even, zoo. Today it is the place where the Crown Jewels are kept. Trafalgar Square is one of the great spots. It was named after the victory in the Battle of Trafalgar. The University of Oxford is the famous and oldest university in the English world, and one of the most prestigious higher education institutions is located in this city. Besides, you can visit the Bodleian Library founded in 1568. Radcliffe Square and Radcliffe Camera are worth a visit. In the town centre, you can find the Carfax Tower and the University Church of St. Mary the Virgin; both attractions give a view over the city. A must-see place in Oxford is Christ Church College, a famous filming location for Harry Potter.


AVAILABLE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES


The highly qualified staff organises engaging cultural and leisure time activities to entertain students after classes and weekends. They are offered to take part in multiple excursions, a large number of school events where they can practice their language skills. Each programme is well organised. There is no time to be bored. A large number of entertainment and sports activities are provided for students. Everyday activities are aimed at making friends, practising the English language and developing essential life skills. The schedule may vary. During some weeks, groups will have morning lessons and afternoon activities, whereas other weeks’ groups may have afternoon lessons and morning activities.
The company is aimed at creating an ideal learning environment to help students to develop six essential life skills: creativity, teamwork, confidence, communication, problem solving and exploration. The activity programmes are designed to ensure the elaboration of these skills.

ACCOMMODATION


Students can be accommodated in two rooms: single en-suite rooms or standard single rooms with shared bathroom. Each room includes a bed, a desk, a wardrobe and a chair. There is a significant activity room for public use. Meals are served in a spacious dining hall.
