Embassy Cambridge is located on the Manor House campus of Bellerbys College.

Cambridge has a worldwide reputation for its universities and colleges. The first College, Peterhouse, was founded in 1284. There you can find King’s College and King’s College Chapel, Queens’ College and the mathematical Bridge, Trinity College, Pembroke College, Corpus Christi College, St. John’s College and many others.
Within the city, there are several outstanding museums: the Fitzwilliam Museum, the Museums of Cambridge, Technology, and Science, National Horse Racing Museum.
Despite its romantic and historical flavour, Cambridge is a modern town that hosts several cultural events such as the Midsummer Fair and the Cambridge Folk Festival.
On weekends, you can take a day trip to Edinburgh or Windsor Castle.


AVAILABLE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES


The highly qualified staff organises engaging cultural and leisure time activities to entertain students after classes and weekends. They are offered to take part in multiple excursions, a large number of school events where they can practice their language skills. Each programme is well organised. There is no time to be bored. A large number of entertainment and sports activities are provided for students. Everyday activities are aimed at making friends, practising the English language and developing essential life skills. The schedule may vary. During some weeks, groups will have morning lessons and afternoon activities, whereas other weeks’ groups may have afternoon lessons and morning activities.
The company is aimed at creating an ideal learning environment to help students to develop six essential life skills: creativity, teamwork, confidence, communication, problem solving and exploration. The activity programmes are designed to ensure the elaboration of these skills.

ACCOMMODATION


Manor House
Students are accommodated on the campus in the student residence in standard single rooms with shared kitchenettes and bathrooms. Meals are served in on-site canteen at Manor House.
The accommodation has necessary facilities:

  • Weekly cleaning of rooms and common areas
  • Wi-Fi

Jesus College Residence
Students are housed in Jesus College residence, a part of the University of Cambridge located close to the city centre. Students live in standard single or twin rooms across eight different townhouses with one house parent in each. Meals are served in on-site canteen at Manor House.
The accommodation has necessary facilities:

  • Laundry in the residence building
  • Weekly cleaning of rooms and common areas
  • Wi-Fi

Homestay
Students are arranged with a host family in twin rooms with shared bathroom. Breakfast and dinner are prepared at the host family. Weekday lunches are prepared in the dining hall at the Manor House. It takes students 40 minutes to get to Bellerbyus College from the accommodation.
