Apollo language school has three summer camps for juniors: two in Dublin and one in Cork.
One of Apollo’s summer camps is in Cork, the second-largest city in Ireland situated in the southwest of the country, 3 hours from Dublin. The School has a convenient location 15 minutes walk from the city centre.

The second-largest city in the Republic of Ireland has a lot to offer visitors. Numerous sights amaze all lovers of sightseeing tourism. You can visit Cork City Gaol. This was a women’s prison where many republican women were held during the War of Independence. But now it is a museum and a theatre. Food lovers can go to the English Market, where they can find all types of deliciousness. An example of breathtakingly beautiful neo-Gothic architecture is the impressive St. Finn Barre’s Cathedral which is worth a visit.
One of the most visited tourist attractions in Cork is Fota Wildlife Park, the animals’ home in their natural environment. It is a favourite place for children and adults.


AVAILABLE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES


Apollo offers students a daily social programme that ranges from museum visits and city tours to trips to unknown places in Ireland and weekend sports.
Apollo activity manager informs students about upcoming entertainments and trips for the week and answers any related-activity questions.
The package includes one full-day excursion on Saturdays, two half-day trips per week, daily daytime entertainment and two evening activities per week. Besides, for residential students, there is an additional city trip on Sundays.

HOMESTAY
Irish people love to talk, have a great sense of humour and welcome nature. Living with a host family is the right choice. You will get an unforgettable experience of living and communicating with a native Irish family. You will use your English in everyday situations outside the classroom. The practice of English in a more relaxed environment contributes to improving your language skills and conversation competence.
Juniors live in a twin/ triple room, sharing with one nationality per host family. Families provide students with breakfast and dinner. Hot lunch they have in the university canteen from Monday to Friday.
