A Standard course is perfect for students who want to increase and expand their knowledge of German and experience Berlin at the same time. This Course can help you to prepare for entering the University or getting a better job. Quite several lessons guarantee great success in learning German. Classes are combined with varied cultural and sports activities, which promote your discovery of Germany and the German way of life. The primary aim of the Standard course is to develop communicative competence. You will undergo training in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and listening comprehension in well-organized lessons. It will contribute to refining vocabulary and conversation skills through grammar lessons. So the Standard Course focuses on the practical use of the German language. Furthermore, you can choose custom-made instruction by booking individual tuition in addition to the Standard Course. While studying German, you have an opportunity to get your guidance for better preparation.

Internship Program allows you to get work experience. Participants 18 – 26 years of age and citizens of a country-member of the European Union can take an internship position after the completion of their German courses. For all other nationalities, an internship is limited. Nevertheless, in case if you study in your home university and the placement is connected with your field of study, so the training is available. Requirements: Course duration: 6 - 8 weeks; Course level: B1-B2; Field of work: DID Deutsch-Institut does its best to find a suitable position which is related to student's professional needs; Locations: DID Deutsch-Institut cooperates with various companies in a different place; Enrollment: A student must submit an application form, a CV in German, three photos at the latest two months before the work program.
Accommodation
Host family. You may choose to live in a host family. It is an excellent possibility to practice the German language after classes to improve your skills. You will learn about the German way of life and traditions. You can live with a family with kids, with singles or with older people. All families will be glad to welcome international students.
You will provide for your meal and share housework with your cohabitants. They can be families, singles or students. - Rooms are fully furnished - Pillows, blankets and sheets are provided - Self-catering
If you want to live independently, you may book a room in a Youth Hotel. You should be 18 years or older. There two Youth hotels in Berlin Youth Hotel. In the Berlin Student Residence, students of 18 years and older can rent a private room. Description: • 30 minutes by public transport to DID Deutsch-Institute • 10 minutes by public transport to the city centre • A subway station is Turmstraße • Wi-Fi is free • Room size is 20 + square meters • Rooms are equipped with towels, linens, dishes, etc. • Bathroom and kitchenette (fridge, microwave) • Laundry room with washing machine and dryer • Snack/ beverages machines Extras: • Apartment service fee (obligatory, to be paid upon booking): EUR 150 • Deposit ( will be refunded if no damage have occurred, to be paid upon booking): EUR 200
